The popular 10-storey Mandilas Building located on Broad Street in Lagos State has been gutted by f!re.
The Director, Lagos State F!re and Rescue Service, Margaret Adeseye, confirmed the incident to journalists on Sunday afternoon.
Adeseye noted that the f!re started from the first floor of the building and has escalated to the fourth floor.
Adeseye disclosed that emergency responders from the Ebute Elefun and Sari Iganmu f!re Stations are currently at the scene to curb further escalation and put the situation under control.
The cause of the f!re was yet to be ascertained as at the time of writing this report.
