1. Extreme Ownership: Take ownership of everything in your life, good or bad. Don’t blame others for your circumstances or failures. Instead, focus on what you can control and take action to make things better.
2. Good, Hard Work: Be willing to put in the hard work necessary to achieve your goals. Don’t expect anything easy, and be prepared to face challenges head-on.
3. The Dichotomy of Control: Focus on what you can control, and let go of what you can’t. This means accepting things you cannot change and focusing your energy on things you can influence.
4. Lead by Example: Be the kind of person you want others to be. Lead by example in everything you do, and your actions will inspire those around you.
5. Cover and Move: Don’t get bogged down in the details. Make a decision, take action, and move on. Don’t let perfectionism paralyze you.
6. Keep it Simple: Don’t overcomplicate things. Keep your goals and plans simple and easy to understand.
7. Find Your Why: What is your purpose? Why are you doing what you’re doing? Having a strong why will give you the motivation to keep going when things get tough.
