The government of Ireland is launching the Critical Skills Employment Permit scheme to attract foreign workers with critical skills.
The initiative aims to address a shortage of skilled workers in various sectors such as production management, ICT, health and social services management, natural and social sciences, engineering, information technology, telecommunications, health, teaching, business administration, architecture, media, design, sports, fitness, sales, and marketing.
Eligible participants should be offered a job for two years or more by a registered employer in Ireland and must meet salary requirements.
The scheme targets skilled workers who can contribute to the Irish economy’s proper functioning.
