Ikere-Ekiti Bank Robbery: Ekiti NYCN condoles victims, charges security apparatus to bring bring perpetrators to book
As youth leaders commends government and police for swift action.
The National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) Ekiti State Chapter has condemn in totality the ugly bank robbery incident in Ikere Ekiti, Ekiti State, which occurred on Wednesday 13th December 2023.
The Council in a press statement signed by the State Chairman Hon. Famuyibo Oluwasegun and the State PRO Comr. Adeniyi Adebanjo, commended the Commissioner of Police for his swift action upon receiving the sad event.
We condemn in totality the ugly bank robbery incident that occurred in Ekiti yesterday, we sympathize with the victims and Ikere Ekiti community leaders, we as well pray for quick recovery for those receiving treatment.
We appreciate the Government for their quick intervention and we appeal to all security agencies to join hands and flush out the perpetrators of this evil act.
We once again appeal to youths to desist from dreadful acts, as youths we must continue to imbibe good morals that will project the good image of our community and the state at large, as we shall continue to sensitize ourselves against moral decadences, they said.
