All the Gods of Warri Kingdom (Ale-Iwere) are under the feet of the Olu.
The Olu of Warri is the only one with the authority to call on all the gods in the lands to fight for justice and for the people.
Also, he has the authority to place his hands on the ground and ask the lands of the Itsekiri people to fight the enemies of the Itsekiri’s.
The Olu also holds the authority to call the gods of the land to halt any judgment against any Itsekiri.
When the Olu sits, he also sits with 20 of his ancestors. He has the power to call on Ebura (ancestors) to declare war on his enemies on behalf of the throne.
