The general public is hereby informed that a loud explosion will be carried out at the Enugu collpased bridge at New Artisan Market, tomorrow, Monday, November 27, 2023. Charging starts by 10 am, while blasting will occur by 5 pm.
The planned explosion is an action towards the restoration of the failed bridge, according to a statement jointly issued by the state ministries of information and works.
The exercise will be a joint operation involving the police anti-bomb unit, the Zonal Mines Officer, and the DSS explosive unit.
The announcement is to avoid creating panic on the part of citizens around the area and Ndi Enugu at large.
