Elyon Chidera Uche-Ajunwa, a student of Deeper Life High School, Yenagoa Campus, Bayelsa State is representing Nigeria in the Africa Spelling Bee Competition holding in Ethiopia, Addis Ababa from 5th-9th of December, 2023.
He is the Winner of the Spelling Bee Competition in Nigeria.
The competition took place in Rivers State and featured spellers from various public and private schools across Nigeria.
He was received by the Bayelsa State Commissioner for Education, Hon. Dr. Emelah Gentle, in his office at Education House, Yenagoa.
He was accompanied by his mother, Dr. Uche-Ajunwa Prisca Ijeoma, the Principal of Deeper Life High School, Yenagoa Campus, Dr. Isiki Peter Monday.
Dr. Gentle Emelah wished him the best as he flys the flag of our great Nation at the continental outing.
