Former Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has allegedly tested positive for testosterone.
Pogba is said to have been called for testing following Juventus ’ 3-0 win over Udinese on August 20. The 30-year-old did not play in the match, spending it on the substitutes’ bench, but was nevertheless selected for a random test.
That test allegedly showed elevated levels of testosterone. According to various reports, a second test sample will now be checked in order to determine a definitive result. If a positive test is confirmed, Pogba will be tried by the National Anti-Doping Tribunal and could face a two-year ban from the game.
