As we await the autopsy result, we must begin to stimulate a new conversation in our call for justice and we must ask ourselves this, if the autopsy result is out today and it reveals that Mohbad’s death was a result of an illness or some medical condition not directly traced to any human cause, will that exonerate Sam Larry and Naira Marley, who have been identified to have caused Mohbad some mortal pain till he breathed his last?
Before the autopsy result is out, we must begin now to redirect the intensity of our call for justice towards demanding the bringing of Sam Larry and Naira Marley into this country to have their day in court on account of the visual footages of their gangsteristic criminal assault and battery unleashed on Mohbad which are now in the public domain and which were reasonably believed to have put Mohbad into a permanent state of physical insecurity and mental paranoia till he was hurried to his early grave.
We must remind ourselves that autopsy is just a medical examination of the medical cause of death; the immediate cause, not the remote cause; medical cause, not psychological cause. With the videos and reportages of unrelenting trailing and tracking of Mohbad around town, by Sam Larry and his goons who were believed to be working for Naira Marley, the possibly emotionless founder of Marlian Records Label with whom Mohbad broke up before his tortuous journey into early grave began, particularly whenever he was out to retool the public rating of his appearances or showcase his talent to the world and the several deadly attacks and wounding which also surfaced in the public domain after Mohbad died, if these represent accurate account of the happenings predating Mohbad’s death, then autopsy or no autopsy, Sam Larry and Naira Marley have a case to answer.
It is important to make this clear to the police and the government now before the result is out so that they won’t come out tomorrow and announce autopsy result with a signal to end the uprising for justice! Those videos in the public domain were recorded by human beings and without Mohbad, the evidence of his several attacks are provable. What is more striking, Mohbad’s father revealed in one of his numerous unexciting public conversations which at best only aroused curiosities, that he had a lengthy talk with Naira and that they didn’t intend to kill Mohbad but they only intended to show him “Ajulo”, which means “Superiority”. From this it is clear Mohbad’s father knows a lot more than he had divulged and he must be treated from today as protected witness.
We urge Nigerians with useful hints and information and evidence to be ready to come forward to give the police and the authorities all necessary support in their investigation and inquiries. It must be noted that there is nothing magical about autopsy. It could only add to the evidence already available. We already have enough revelations and evidence of criminality against Sam Larry and Naira Marley through the unceasing havoc they wrecked into the life of that rising star, Imole, who had to be quenched and buried before it could shine.
Mohbad story is a long story that can never be cut short. Like Akexander the Great, Mohbad died young and after excruciating pains. But unlike Alexander the Great who only suffered agonizing fever and abdominal pain before he died, Mohbad’s suffering and pain before he died were mortal, intensely physical and metaphysical and they were caused by fellow humans.
Even in his grave, Mohbad was still not safe and folks were on guide at his tomb all night; feared, that those behind his death could still come for his corpse at night. So sad!!!
