The downpour which occurred on Saturday in Akure, the state capital of Ondo state left major roads user in the capital city stranded.
The flood has also sent many residents out of their houses while others were stranded with no access to their destinations.
The affected roads included Adesida, Ondo road and Oyemekun Road.
The flood also took over the popular Erekesan market.
Many motorists abandoned their vehicles in the flood as they were already stuck in the water.
Some Passengers were also seen trying to find their way out of the flooded areas.
While lamenting the ugly situation, the people appealed to Government to find a lasting solution to the perenial problem of flooding in Akure and other parts of the state.
