The remarkable sisters who are known as Mopelola Makinde, Oluwaseun Makinde, and Oluwafunmilayo Makinde, were inspired by their father, Captain Wale Makinde, a veteran helicopter pilot who works with the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority.
Mopelola and Oluwaseun are helicopter pilots, while Oluwafunmilayo is a fixed-wing pilot.
The three sisters are actively flying and are happily married. Their father, Capt. Wale Makinde, is a native of Ondo town, Ondo State.
