Urges Security Agencies To Apprehend The Criminals
Niger State Governor, Rt. Hon. Mohammed Umaru Bago, has strongly condemned the robbery attack targeting the cashier of the Emir of Minna, Ibrahim Sani.
In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, Governor Bago expressed his deep disappointment and regarded the incident as both unfortunate and a grave disregard for the traditional institution.
He firmly stated that his administration will not stand idly by while criminals inflict pain and sorrow upon innocent residents of the state.
Governor Bago emphasized, “This situation is highly regrettable, especially occurring not just within the state capital but within the confines of the Emir’s Palace.”
He further asserted, “My administration will not tolerate such acts. I urge the security agencies to conduct a thorough investigation and apprehend the criminals for prosecution.”
Governor Umaru Bago extended his sympathies to the Emir of Minna, Alhaji Umar Farouk Bahago, regarding the robbery attack. He also offered prayers for the swift recovery of the two Palace Aids who were affected by the incident.
