The Nigerian Youth Congress (NYC), Ondo State Chapter is observing and following the historic adventure currently being embarked upon by Miss Adeyeye Adeola(Chef Deo). We are pleased with her awe-inspiring courage and determination to etch her name in the world history record through her craft.
Adeyeye Adeola, an Ondo State born Chef, has since Friday 30th June, 2023 started a 150-hour cooking marathon (cook-a-thon) which, when successful, will break the Guiness World Record (GWR) recently set by Chef. Hilda Baci, also a Nigerian who succeeded last month in cooking for 93hours, 11minutes nonstop.
Chef Deo’s cooking marathon is currently ongoing at TMF Lounge and Bar, located in Ileoluji/Okeigbo and Odigbo Local Government, Ondo State.
In emphasis, this development has yet displayed industriousness and courage, which are core values of Ondo State youths. We are therefore proud to identify with this prominent Ondo State born Chef on her journey, as she moves on to realizing her dream. We believe that her action and success would inspire the young generation and many people alike to be diligent.
interestingly, the NYC Ondo State recall that earlier this year, precisely on 24th January, 2023, Philip Solomon, a 17-year old Secondary School Students also from Ondo State was declared a Guiness World Record holder for most skips(153) on one foot in 30 seconds, dethroning Rasel Ismel of Bangladesh who previously set the record with 145 skips mark. This is one of the numerous uncommon talents and potentials through which Ondo State youths have continued to gain international recognitions in different areas of endeavors.
Finally, we want to call on the people of Ondo State and across Nigeria to encourage and support Chef Adeola with every available means to achieve her target goal. The NYC Ondo State Chapter is also rallying round Chef Adeola and her team and hoping to see her break and set her own records come July 6, 2023.
Signed
Comrade Adebayo Lawrence
