Member representing Keffi East Constituency in the Nasarawa State House of Assembly (NSHA), Mr Ovey John has pledged to run an open-door policy in order to ensure development.
Mr Ovey who was elected on the platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) made the pledge on Monday at the flag-off of borehole construction in Salamu community of the Constituency to provide residents with potable water.
He said the gesture would be extended to other parts of the Constituency in fulfillment of his campaign promise.
The Lawmaker also pledged to sponsor bills and resolutions that would address the myriad of socioeconomic challenges bedeviling the Constituency.
He however solicited for continued support and prayers, assuring constituents of an all-inclusive representation for development to thrive.
As a representative of the people, he said his door remains wide open to all constituents “so that together we can take Keffi East to greater heights”.
“I swore an oath of service and by God’s grace within the next 100 days, I’ll deliver dividends of democracy in fulfillment of my campaign promises.
“My constituents, be rest assured of my commitment to your well-being,” the Lawmaker added.
