The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Nasarawa State has constituted an 89-man caucus to oversee the smooth running of party’s affairs with however the name of a high ranking Lawmaker and Factional Speaker of the State Assembly, Ogah Ogazi (APC, Kokona East) excluded.
The caucus, an organ of the party has as leader Governor Abdullahi Sule, followed by his Deputy, Dr. Emmanuel Agbadu Akabe and predecessors, Senators Abdullahi Adamu and Umaru Tanko Al-Makura.
Others include former Deputy Governor, Silas Ali Agara and three members of the National Assembly elected on its platform, Abubakar Hassan Nalaraba, Abdulmumin Ari and Jeremiah Umaru.
6 factional principal officers of the State Assembly led by former two-term Speaker, Ibrahim Abdullahi Balarabe also made the list which held a closed door meeting on Monday June 19 at the Government House, Lafia presided over by Governor Sule.
Former Minister of Environment, Barrister Mohammed Hassan Abdullahi; Secretary to the State Government, Barrister Muhammad Ubandoma Aliyu; former Vice Chairman of the party (Northcentral), Ahmed Wambai Suleiman were also named.
Eight members of the State Working Committee (SWC) namely John Mamman, Aliyu Yakubu Barde, Aliyu Bello, Thomas Ogboshi Ogu, Hassan Abubakar, Mrs Blessing Julius, Rilwanu Idris and Joshua Ngimsho were part of the caucus.
Others are Mustapha Galadima, former National Assembly Members, past Speakers and Deputy Speakers and incumbent Executive Chairmen of LGAs.
Also named in the party’s caucus are Dr. Hassan Muhammad Liman, Abdulhamid Yakubu Kwara, Dr. James Angbazo, Architect Shehu Ahmad Tukur, Dauda S. Kigbu, Muhammad Musa Maikaya, Kwanta Yakubu, Peter Mbucho, Umaru Abubakar Dan’Akano, Aisha Rufai Ibrahim, Yahaya Sarkin Noma, Anthony Obande, Musa Dangana, Yahaya Adams, Mohammed Iyimoga Oyigye, Ishaya Awotu, Hajiya Ramatu Dalhatu, Danladi Halilu Envulu-Anza, Esther Alu, Shuaibu Abdullahi Kore, Lucky Yargwa, Dr. Abdulkarim Abubakar Kana, Raphael Dogara Saaka, Usman Bala Moskolo, Barrister Tanimu Adabson, Prof. Muhammad S. Haruna, Aliyu Tijani, Hajiya Fatu Sabo, Barrister Labaran Shuaibu Magaji and ACG Ezekiel Kaura (rtd.).
