The Joint Campus Council National Association of Nigerian (NANS JCC) Kano State calls on the Vice Chancellor of Bayero University Kano to with a matter of urgency reverse the tuition fee within 1 Week or face the wrath of the Nigerian students.
Comr. Ismail Ahmad Maishinkafa NANS JCC Kano Axis has rejected the unreasonable and unjustifiable increment in tuition fees in Bayero University Kano to over more than N150,000, signifying it as unacceptable to the Nigerian students.
The decision made by the University Management considering the hardship and economic recession in the country especially the removal of fuel subsidy which leads to the hike in other commodities across the nation is unjustifiable to the highest order.
In view of this, we call on the President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu , Vice Chancellor BUK Kano, NANS National Body, NANS Northwest Zone and other stakeholders to as a matter of urgency consider Nigerian Students into this critical issue and reverse the anti-students decision within 1 Week.
Finally, we emphasis on the statement made by the Financial Secretary NANS Zone A Comr. Ismail Ambaddi in a press release calling the attention of the Zonal Coordinator in order to relocate the Zonal Headquarters to Bayero University Kano (BUK).
