Hon. Biodun Omoleye, member representating Ekiti Central Federal Constituency II in the House of Representatives, has felicitated the Muslim faithful on the occasion of Eid-el-Kabir celebrations. He applauded the ambience of joy, serenity and high spiritedness that the season heralds which are unique experiences we look forward to yearly.
In his statement, Omoleye congratulated all Muslims across the country while encouraging them to remember the sacrifice of Prophet Ibrahim and the utmost submission to the will of Allah. He went on to express that the celebration is symbolic of obedience and submission to the will of Allah which are important for everyone to emulate as conditions for sharing in the mercy of Allah. Omoleye reminded all, that Allah’s commands are in the best interest of us his creation to whom he has given the commandments of love, peace and Unity.
He further enjoined Muslim faithful to pray for our beloved country, particularly at this point where a journey to rekindle the dreams and hopes of all citizens has just begun. He appealed to clerics and faithful to commit the task ahead into the hands of Allah and seek his mercy upon Nigeria. He also made an appeal to all Muslim faithful to remember in their prayers the leaders of the country who at this time need divine strength and wisdom to do what is right and in the interest of all citizens.
He concluded by beseeching all faithful to keep with them the lessons from the prophets, and Allah’s commandment of love beyond the season of the celebration.
