ALARMING CRISIS RATE, INSECURITY, HINDERED WELFARISM AND DEVELOPMENT OF AKOKO NORTH EAST AREA; NECCESITY OF HAVING A RESPONSIVE REPRESENTATIVE.
As a passionate advocator of good governance for his people who cannot speak for all parties but fully examined the common people on the streets and have the ears of the masses, I have to appraise the performance of the government as it concerns what the general public feel about the administration. Governor Akeredolu your administration is one of it’s kind.
Many of the prospective youths of the Local Government not glad with the Ignorance and fake history purported to oppose the peace in the ground and chose to battle for supremacy in the Ikare community and others subordinate of Akoko North East Local Government is normal. used to be a region of harmony before the alarming rate of insecurities set in and agents of peridiction hijacked the communal clash.
According to the Commonwealth Local Government Forum (CLGF), Commonwealth organization dedicated to build and encourage democratic local government through symposiu um, research and events at the state level, the relevant ministry of local government and chieftaincy affairs or bureau of local government affairs is responsible for the administration of the state-level Acts governing local authorities. It is very pivotal for the ministry to work with people’s friendly representative in providing timely and reliable feedback at the Local Government level. The frequent communal clash in Ikare Akoko and state of insecurities in the outskirt communities of the Local Government Area have been chasing away Foreign investors, modern infrastructures, and other potentials such as farming, Education and so on. According to the old one saying, whoever will collect an akara from a child will first offer something more sweetable such as honey. The earlier the better before the upcoming generation see violence as a social norms. Without mincing words, Akoko North East Local government need a servant leader, a leader who will not discriminate or be bias in his dealings, we need more liberal leader who will always carried out developmental projects that will force the up and down to co-exist peacefully. We need someone who will provide numerous empowerments that will give hope to the hopeless who always engaged and participated in the violence. It is the general belief that an idle hand is the devils workshop.
Many renowned and resourceful groups in the Akoko North East region have queued behind Hon. Mutiu Muhammed Olawale popularly called Baba Nee and the Present Financial Secretary of The Ondo State APC party due to his overwhelming potentials for peace keeping, religious tolerant and unbiased approach. Diverse socio-political groups believe the young, energetic and natural born mediator will work hand in hand with the State Government, Ministry of Local government and Chieftaincy affairs through concrete feedbacks, supervising the activities of local government, ensuring considerate and payable tax rates, coordinating the affairs of local government councils, unification of the different fractions of National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) and overseeing chieftaincy matters in the commercial and farming hub which is the bedrock of the communal clash and alarming insecurity challenges.
We appeal to his excellency and other authorities to save the council area that is richly blessed with fertile land and commercial activities from diminishing in value, and on the path of desolate if things continue falling apart.
