A man named Yakubu Mohammed has allegedly chopped off the wrist of a commercial motorcycle rider simply identified as Shuaibu in a misunderstanding over girlfriend, Zengwe Teller. Â
According to an eyewitness, the unfortunate incident occurred on Thursday 18 in Tunga, Awe Local Government Area of Nasarawa State.Â
The Okada rider had dropped off the girlfriend in a location to meet another man and while on his way back, Yakubu blocked and attacked him with cutlass.Â
Yakubu popularly known as Kayi is a relative of the community’s traditional ruler.Â
The victim who is married with children has been moved to a hospital in Lafia, the state Capital where he’s currently receiving medical attention.Â
Meanwhile, the police is yet to arrest the culprit 3-days after the incident as he’s seen moving about freely.
