On Tuesday April 24, 2023, DOLTMA PEARLS EMPOWERMENT FOUNDATION led by Miss Akinfiresoye Leah Tolulope in grand style commemorated World Book Day in Akure, the Ondo State Capital.
The event which had over 200 kids in attendance laid particular emphasis on importance of books to protect boy and girl children from sexual abuses while teaching them to cultivate good moral values.
The kids who were enlightened about their private & public body parts through different melodious poems, songs and rhymes also learnt to speak out whenever their body dignity is under threats by pedophiles. They were further encouraged to live in love and to avoid bullying other kids around them.
The founder of the Doltma Pearls Foundation and author of Sex Education for Children & Pre-schoolers, Miss Akinfiresoye Leah Tolulope stressed the need for sexuality & moral education and why it should be incorporated into school curriculum nationwide.
Capping the programme was the distribution of free copies of the Book to all the children that attended the event which held at ibulesoro community.
