Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, CON represented by his Deputy Hon Lucky Aiyedatiwa led other dignitaries at the Dinner/Award Night, Lecture and fundraising of the 40th Diocesan Anniversary Grand finale of Owo (Church of Nigeria Anglican Communion), held at Mydas Hotels and Resorts, Owo on Saturday.
The Chairman of the impressive event was Chief Wole Olanipekun SAN, while Mr Ajibola Bankole Adebutu, CEO JB Farms Ltd, was the chief launcher.
All Progressives Congress, APC chieftain, Chief Olusola Oke SAN delivered lecture on: “Moving Forward: The Role of The Church in Nigeria Politics”.
Others at the event were, Chief of Staff to Governor, Chief Olugbenga Ale, APC State Chairman, Engr Ade Adetimehin, an Awardee and Special Adviser to Governor on Union Matters and Special Duties, Mr Dare Aragbaye, who also got an award at the event, House of Assembly members, State Cabinet members, Dr Tunji Abayomi, Princess Dr Mrs R.U Osula Mku-Atu JP of Rosula foundation, the Bishop of Church of Nigeria, (Anglican Communion), Diocese of Owo, Rt Revd Stephen Ayodeji Fagbemi and others.
