OSUN Central Senator-elect on the platform of the People’s Democratic Party, Ajagunla Olubiyi Fadeyi, has sent a congratulatory message to all Muslim Ummah in the senatorial district for a successful completion of this year’s Ramadan fasting.
In a statement signed by the Ajagunla of Yorubaland, the Senator-elect expressed gratitude to Almighty Allah for the continued peace and unity that resign before during and after the Ramadan fasting period. The Tayese II of Ifetedo kingdom also urged the good people of Osun Central senatorial district to continue to exhibit the doctrines and lessons of Ramadan which he said centres on love, self-discipline, obedience to God, tolerance and selfless love for others.
Speaking further, the Chairman of the Ajagunla Radio located in Ila-Orangun township noted that part of lessons of Ramadan is unequivocally repetitive of the need to feel the pains of the less privileged and helpless members of the society. He however, advised all Muslims not to go back to their old ways of life that Ramadan has cleansed them from.
He also the good people of Osun State to be law-abiding citizens and expect dividends of democracy in the administration of PDP at all levels in the state, adding that all the years of suffering under APC regime has become a thing of the past.
