Charges Members on Aggressive House to House Campaign and contact monitoring of the Electorate*
Ahead of the Saturday’s Gubernatorial and State Assembly Election, the Intregrity group of the All Progressives Congress has called on its members to maintain the momentum of the aggressive mobilization and galvanizing of support for Governor Babajide Sanwoolu and Hon.Kayode Steven Ogundipe.
The Group made the call during its large critical stakeholders meeting on Wednesday at the Secretariat where postmortem of the Presidential and National Assembly Election was done while members were urged to work aggressively to ensure that overwhelming votes is recorded for Governor Sanwoolu and Hon.Ogundipe.
Leaders at the meeting who took turns to address the mammoth party loyalists said the Saturday election is a serious one for the party and the State at large while they called for all hands to be on deck with total commitment, support and unity of purpose expected from all and sundry.
While addressing the enthusiastic party members who defied the scorching sun, Comrade Bamidele Ogunsakin said that their efforts and work through out the electioneering will be crowned only if they deliver all the polling units with wide margin across the Ward for the party and its candidates.
He further called for concrete synergy and unity of purpose among the members by subverting any form of glitches that may hinder the party from recording overwhelming votes on Saturday.
In the same vein , High.Cheif Fasesan Ajanaku said that the members should all come out in their capacity by canvassing friends , families, and neighbour on the need to come out on Saturday to vote for Governor Sanwoolu for the continued protection of our heritage.
While charging the members as well, the immediate past State Auditor of the Party, Elder.Wale Ariyibi enjoined the members to prove their electoral capacity and worth by delivering massively for Governor Sanwoolu and Hon.Kayode Steven Ogundipe as the member to represent Oshodi-Isolo Constituency 1 at the Lagos State House of Assembly.
Comrade Ayeni Oluwaseun while addressing the house and the youth in particular said that the Youth should see the election as a means of protecting their heritage which Lagos represent by shunning erroneous and ethnic bile flying around as Lagos has been working and will keep working for the youth.
He implored the youths particularly to come all out enmasse and vote APC in the Saturday election.
It was a triumphant entry of Otunba Kayode Steven Ogundipe, the Candidate of the party in the Saturday’s State Assembly Poll who was accompanied by Hon.Bisiriu and his team.
Hon.Ogundipe appreciated the party members for their support so far since the journey began while charging them to double their efforts as we move to the last lap of the election.
He assured the house on inclusive representation for the growth and development of the Oshodi at large.
Igala, Igbo and others had their group well represented as they promised massive votes for the party.
The meeting came to an end with the energy and zeal of members well renewed for positive electoral outing on Saturday with assurance of landslide victory for Governor Sanwoolu and Hon.Kayode Steven Ogundipe.
The meeting which had notable leaders of the party in attendance among which are Elder.Wale Ariyibi, Hon.Dawood Adeola, Former Executive Secretary of the Local Government, High.Chief Alakoso, Hon.Ade Marchaty, Hon.Kale Bankojo, Hon Abiola Oladipupo, Alhaja Kasali , Hon.Nike Adekola, amongst others.
Councilors present are Hon.Femi Wasiu Mustapha, Hon.Wasiu Faluade and Hon.Kadijat Jimoh.
