It was a moment of celebration few days ago,when Dr. Abiola Oshodi through his foundation (Dr. Abiola Oshodi Foundation) approved the disbursement of bursary scholarship for students of tertiary institutions in both Owo and Ose local governments.
The event which had in attendance party chieftains, in the likes of Ch.Olugbenga Ale, Chief of Staff to Ondo State Governor, Hon. Femi Idris, Chairman Local Government Service Commission, Mr. Balogun, APC Chairman,Owo local government, Hon. Kolawole Babatunde (Amechi), Director General,APC Ondo North Presidential Campaign Council (PCC), Mr Oredola Jacob, Senatorial Chairman and many others including Arch. Tosho Ale, all APC Ward chairmen, Irewolede Political Movement headed by Mr Obademi Clement, Community leaders and Students of tertiary institutions from across the country.
The atmosphere was electrifying as many attested to the kindness and human capital development traits in the Medical Practitioner cum politician,Dr Abiola Oshodi.
Dr. Abiola Oshodi Bursary Scholarship commenced in 2016/2017 and since then, it has been an annual event being enjoyed by both old and current students across his Federal Constituency of Owo/Ose
Also,during the occasion,Dr. Abiola Oshodi approved the disbursement of funds for hundreds of party members (APC) across Owo and Ose Federal Constituency to ease the economic situation created by the current cash swap issue in Nigeria. And the smiles on the faces of the beneficiaries were enough to conclude that Dr Abiola Oshodi is a value addition to this generation.
PARTICIPATION IN POLITICS
Dr. Abiola Oshodi has been a Progressive Statesman for years and he was the Canada Director of Buhari Support Group in 2015 and also played major role in the reelection of President Muhammedu Buhari in 2019.
Dr. Abiola Oshodi did not relent in his urge to ensure that Nigeria succeed, this made him to be part of Progressives and continue mobilizing for the mandate of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu before Presidential Primary election of the APC in 2022, this effort earned him recognition at the national level of the party and he was appointed as member of Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) and also member of Independent Campaign Council (ICC) of APC.
