Let me first and foremost give glory to the almighty God who in his infinite mercy broke the very gordian knot that has been difficult to break over the years. Consequently, I Hon. Festus Ayodele Adefiranye your MHR elect Ileoluji/Okeigbo & Odigbo Federal Constituency, with heart of gratitude wish to express my profound and deepest appreciation to all the good people of Ileoluji/Okeigbo & Odigbo Federal constituency for putting your trust in me and repose much confidence on me right from my keenly contested primary election in which you elected me as your Candidate of our great Party.
My good people of Ileoluji/Okeigbo & Odigbo Federal constituency, you did not leave me after the primary election despite the blackmails and lies from haters and envies from my home, you took another Giant Stride in concluding the work you started by finally electing me as your Representative in the Lower Chamber of Nigerian National Assembly in the just concluded General Election amidst all odds and you refuse to let me and our party down, I am grateful most indeed.
Let me specially appreciate all our royal fathers across our federal constituency, His Imperial Majesty Oba (Dr) Lawrence Oluwole Babajide ( Bamigbala I ) – The Oluoke and the Paramount Ruler of Okeigbo Kingdom, His Imperial Majesty Oba (Dr) Julius Oluwole Olufaderin ( Jimoko II) – the Jegun and the Paramount Ruler of Ileoluji Kingdom, His Imperial Majesty Oba (Dr) Rufus Akinrimade – Orunja of Odigbo Kingdom, His Imperial Majesty Oba Adelola Aderemi – the Ajobu of Araromi Obu Kingdom, His Royal Majesty Oba Akinwe Bamidele – Akogbe of Ajue Land and all others kabiyesi, Loja and Baale in the Federal constituency. I am most grateful my Royal Majesties.
My appreciation will remain incomplete without mentioning some notable and committed party Leaders that fought and won the battle for me and the entire Federal constituency, such as his Excellency Governor Rotimi Akeredolu the Generalisimo in the battle and Caring Father. I am also indebted to my Visionary Leader per excellence Hon. Wale Akinterinwa for his unalloyed moral and other supports, Rt Hon Mayowa Akinfolarin who was one of the formal Senatorial aspirant during the primary election but put the hurdles of primary election behind as a party man and vigorously supported me morally and financially. I am also grateful to Dr Pius Osunyinkanmi, Hon Boye Oyewumi another Formal Senatorial Aspirant who also supported me financially, all leaders in Odigbo constituency 1 & 2, all leaders in Ileoluji/Okeigbo constituency that are too numerous to mention.
I cannot forget the two Chairmen and Vice Chairmen of APC in Ileoluji/Okeigbo & Odigbo Local Governments, the 21 ward Chairmen and other party executives in the two Local Governments for my enthronement.
The good people of our Federal Constituency, you have played your roles and part, it is left for me not only to play my part but to reciprocate your good gesture and provide a robust representation that will take our constituency to the next level by God grace.
I have come to you for your votes and you have sent me unconditionally out of many that are equally qualified. what a rare privilege you gave me!
This is the first time my Jerusalem Okeigbo will be representing the Federal constituency, I therefore know and understand the task ahead of me, I believe in God that started it will surely complete it very well.
Let me specially recognized and appreciate other Candidates from other political parties for the spirit of sportsmanship they have displayed during and after the election, most especially my two brothers Dr. Felder Adeoye Olatunji and Hon. Akinwande Rotimi. You have all done well and the victory is for all of us, please let us do it together. We are stronger together, it is going to be team work.
Dear Constituents, to whom much is given, I am therefore quite aware that much is expected from me. It is based on this that l solicit for your prayers for God to see me through in this journey.
