Hon. Adedamola Richard collected my Certificate of Return from INEC, thus bringing to a full close, the long winding circuit of *2023 General Electioneering process*
According to Marcus Cicero, the Roman philosopher, scholar and statesman; _”Gratitude is not only the greatest of virtues, but the parent of all others.”_
Coming nearer home, one of our popular Yoruba axioms say, *_”Eni ti a ba se loore, ti ko dupe, bi Olosa Koni leru lo ni_”*
On this note, permit me to start this appreciation note by first expressing gratitude to God Almighty who gave us emphatic victory at the House of Assembly polls of 18th March 2023. All victories come from the Most High and so I return all the Glory to Him.
Next, I want to thank all the YOUTH of Ikeja Constituency 2. The battle was real and the challenge was tough, but I appreciate you all for standing firm, for standing with me, for standing with our party and for defending your territory against the electoral and political aggressors. Your efforts and activities before, during and after elections are highly commendable and totally appreciated.
Without your support and commitment, our victory of *(APC-19,988: LP-9078 : PDP-1466)* would not have been possible. Once again, i say thank you.
Beyond partisan lines, through this just-concluded elections, the youths of Nigeria have succeeded in making a very strong political statement that , going forward, our generation can no longer be taken for granted in the scheme of things. For me, this is a very significant milestone and something solid to build upon in the nearest future.
Once again, you are all appreciated.
I also want to thank all our party faithfuls and footsoldiers who took it upon themselves to canvass, campaign and mobilise for our party and it’s candidates.
Some worked under the sun, some worked in the rain. Some worked in the thick of the night, some took personal risks. Some were arrested and unjustly detained. Some sustain injuries, some were harrased and insulted.
Some spent their hard-earned resources to ensure things go right in their territories. Some stood and defended our votes with vigour.
Some printed colourful banners and posters for me and other candidates.
Campaign Jingles also came handy.
All your efforts are clearly seen and noted.
No amount of money can adequately repay your dedication, perseverance and loyalty. May God reward you all abundantly and bountifully.
May I also salute all our Party Leaders and Chieftains across Ikeja and Ojodu: From our LGA APC Chairmen, *Alhaja Stella Kokumo* and *Alhaji Adekunle Dally-Adeokun,* to all our EXCOs and Apex Leaders, I thank you most sincerely for rallying round me and ensuring we emerged victorious. You are the real heroes of this election. Kudos!
Our Local Government Chairmen, Councillors, EXCO Members; civil servants across board; our CDCs, CDAs and other community based organisations and entities, I thank you.
Members of *OJODU UNITED FORUM FOR ARK & SANWOOLU,* a concise but versatile, vibrant and valiant group of eggheads with street creds. I salute your courage and vision. Thank you!
Our Royal Fathers, religious Leaders and community Leaders and other stakeholders…I thank you!
Our great Market Leaders, Women and Men; Artisans, Leaders and Members of Lagos State Park and Garages Management Committee., I thank you!
Residents of open communities and Gated estates across Ikeja Constituency 2, I thank you!.
Our GAC member, *Cardinal James Odumbaku (Baba Eto)* and all Apex Leaders across Ikeja LGA and Ojodu LCDA. I Thank you!
Members of the online community and our friends in the Diaspora. I Thank you.
Members of ARK ICG, Media Team, the ARK Queens, ARK Vanguard, office and constituency staffs as well as the entire ARK Nation, I thank you!

My darling and ever-supporive wife and lovely family, I thank you!
I cannot conclude this note without mentioning the man who stood solidly behind me like a rock, Hon (High Chief) James Abiodun Faleke, the Atunluse Akorede of Ikeja land, Thank you Sir!
Finally, I appreciate my father, hero, mentor and role model, *President-Elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his Jewel, Sen. Oluremi Tinubu*. I can’t thank you enough. God bless you for me.
My tour of the communities during the campaign revealed a lot and varieties of requests were presented, I want to seize this opportunity to reassure you all that I am committed to addressing these issues and to fulfilling all promises made during the campaign.
As we get set for a new dispensation, higher quality represention, better governance, intentional inclusion and better dividends of democracy are my promises to the people of Ikeja Constituency 2.
Once again i appreciate you all and I thank you for your unflinching support.
Lastly I dedicated these Victory and Certificate to God Almighty and to the memories of my three (3) departed Matriarchs: *Alhaja Abibat Mogaji (Ashabi); Chief (Mrs) Abiodun Kasunmu (Ayinke) and Chief (Mrs) Kemi Nelson (Ashake)*. You did not struggle in vain. May your souls continue to rest peacefully.
