CONGRATULATORY MESSAGE TO THE NEWLY ELECTED MARMOCOHTSU PRESIDENT, COMRADE ETIM DAVID.
The past few months has been one of tasking challenges, that I would initially regard, as an hinderance, we never envisaged for our dear Union. But as they would say, and which you have perfectly demonstrated today that, “Delay is not denial”.
To outsiders, our political games might look childish and cheap. But, when a deep insight is launched into it, it definitely would be so obvious that, MARGMOCOHTSU is fast becoming a Union that is worth reckoning with, as our students fully possesses the skills, knowledge and technical know-how, on how to go about their political businesses in a way, devoid of rancor, violence and hate speech.
Dear Comrade, I am so excited to felicitate you on your victory at the polls, on this day, being the 8th day of February, 2023. The maturity, patience and perseverance you displayed when all odds were obviously against you, is one worth studying. You decided to act as a literate and put your pen to work, when you felt cheated, instead of doing otherwise. And to God be the glory, you got your mandate restored.
However, it is only ideal that, myself as a Statesman of MARGMOCOHTSU politics, bring to your notice, that the Students, entrusted the mandate into your hands, because they believe in your capacity to bring back the Unity that is apparently amiss. It is therefore expected of you, as the leader of all forces in Margaret Mosunmola College Of Health Sciences, to attend to this issue, as it is one that requires urgent attention.
Furthermore, I beseech you to be magnanimous in victory, as that is one of the qualities we want in a man whose decisions, would always affect the lives of 20,001 MARGMOCITEs. Embrace your contenders, make peace with all camps and most importantly, don’t write anybody off, as a failure.
I most definitely know how tasking, the new job you’ve been assigned can be, as I have once been in your shoes. And so, I’m using this medium to assure you, on behalf of all stakeholders, our unflinching and unalloyed support, as we are more interested in MARGMOCOHTSU’s growth, above any other thing.
Conclusively, I plead with you to seek God’s guidance and the needed knowledge and wisdom, needed to go about your new assignments. I wish you all the best there are, and I want to remind you once again that, you are answerable to all students of Margaret Mosunmola College Of Health Sciences, and whatever decision you make, affects us all.
Please, paddle our canoe, to a safe harbor, Mr. President.
