Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri Thursday swore into Office, eight newly appointed sole administrators of development areas in Adamawa State following their confirmation by the State House of Assembly.
At the ceremony which held in the Government House, Yola, Governor Umaru Fintiri congratulates the appointees and urged them to cooperate with their respective council chairmen to improve the welfare of the masses.
He observed that their appointment was coming at a very critical time, saying a lot was expected from them to deliver dividends of democracy to the people in addition to deliver their areas to the PDP in the forthcoming elections.
While noting their massive support and contributions to his administration and the PDP, Governor Fintiri vowed to assist them where necessary within the available resources to piloting the affairs of their areas for people to benefit.
He sent a sound warning to appointees that his administration will not condone betrayal and it will not force anybody to work with it, calling on the development area administrators to work for the interest of the masses and the PDP.
In his vote of thanks on behalf of those appointed, the sole administrator for Toungo South Development Area, Honourable Kabiru Hamalai thanked Governor Fintiri for recognizing them with the appointments and pledged to justify the confidence reposed in them.
He pointed out that even without the appointments, they are ever ready to deliver the governor in March eleven election, promising to collaborate with other stakeholders to ensure victory of the PDP in the next Saturday’s elections.
The oath of office and allegiance were administered on the eight sole administrators by the Attorney General and Commissioner of Justice Barrister Afraimu Jingi.
Those swore into office include; Ali Lanara, Koma Vomni(Jada), Haruna Hassan, Mbilla(Maiha), Parissa Kaigama, Uba Gaya(Hong), Yusuf Gayus, Gyenle(Mayo Belwa), Kabiru H. Lai, Toungo South (Toungo), Misa U Malkohi, Namtari(Yola South), Amos Matalo, Dumne(Song) and Aminu Chubado, Jere Bakari(Girei).
