The National Association Of Akure Students amidst fun fare has on Wednesday 25th January, 2023 inaugurated the newly elected members of the National executives led by Comrade Afe Samson Ademola, popularly known as Afesa. 
The inauguration which took place at the legislative chamber of the Akure South local government secretariat witness the attendance of the local government Chairman, Barrister Olaniyi Gbenga, and members of his team, and the Association Stakeholders led by the staff adviser, Hon. Olusola David, popularly known as King, father of the President, Hon. Afe Samuel and other well wishers.
After administering the oath of office on the elected Excos, the association staff adviser, Hon. Olusola David King, implore the local government Chairman and his team to always support and recon with the association and charge the executives to be of great addition to the community.Â
He however charge the newly Inaugurated executives to always approach issues without any iota of violence. He further promised to always support the association and continue to relate well with the new executives. He assured that he will continue to do his best as the chairman of the local government to see to the welfare of the entire student populace. 
Those inaugurated are Comrade Afe Samson Ademola as the National President from College of Health Technology Akure. Comrade Akinola Ifeoluwa as the Vice President from Federal Polytechnic Ado Ekiti, Comrade Awowole Abiola as the General Secretary from Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology, Okitipupa. Comrade Ojo Olalekan as the Financial secretary from Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo, Comrade Ojo Sunday as the Assistant General Secretary from Federal University of Technology, Akure. Others are Comrade Ibitoye favour as the Treasurer from Adeyemi University of Education, Ondo, and Comrade Majasan Mathew as the Public Relation Officer, from Adeyemi University of Education, Ondo.
In his acceptance speech, Comrade Afesa thank God Almighty for the victory recorded at the polls and the local government Chairman for always showing capacity whenever the students comes knocking at the local government, he appreciated his father, leaders and members of the outgoing executives. He assured that his administration will bring more succor to the student community and will further support whatever that is of the interest of Akure as a community.
