Akoko North East Youth Forum (ANEYF) as condemns the recent attacks on the Senatorial District candidate of the All Progressives Congress in Ondo State, Pastor Jide Ipinsagba.
It should be recall that pastor Jide Ipinsagba Campaign trail moved to Ose/Owo Local Government in Ondo State along side with member of the political party and Leaders of the All Progressives Congress.Β
It was gathered that the attack was a result of angry member of the All Progressives Congress in Ose local government area who were demanding inclusiveness in the activities of the party, that only some set of people and family members are benefiting and occupying vital positions.Β
Hon. Olaniyi Eni-Olotu, Director, Media and Publicity, Ose Local Government APC Campaign Council in a press release said it was a peaceful demonstration from the people who are calling for dividends of DemocracyΒ
Ayanwola Ayandokun, the president of the Akoko North East Youth Forum (ANEYF) in a press release to Peoplesmind express his displeasure over the attacks, saying that in this era of digital world and level of exposure, we don’t expect sure attack from any part of the Senatorial District.Β
In a social system there are three levels of democracy. The lowest level is the undemocratic system, where the government falsifies the voting system.Β
This is a political tragedy, the middle level in a democratic hierarchy is pure democracy, where both the government and the opposition are in tough competition in political elections. This level of democracy is reminiscent of political drama. And the last – the highest level – is supra-democracy, where the falsification of the electoral system is carried out by the opposition, which leads to a political comedy in the political arena.

We were shocked and taken aback when the unverified news of the attack on the APC Ondo North Senatorial Candidate Pastor Jide Ipinsagba reached us, we were livid with anger that why would our brothers from Ose Local Government did such thing. But thanks to the Media team and the campaign train of the Senator who debunked it and quickly douse the tension of the unconfirmed news wanted to generate.Β
Β The entire youths of Akoko North East Youth Forum urge the good people of Ose/Owo to shun any form of Political violence, we must be tolerant and diplomatic in all approach, Sportsmanship is the best policy, Physical violence is endangered to modern democracy and good governance.
Unity means the state of being whole or joined as one it doesnβt matter whether it is between 2 persons or 2 more than 2 people. When they are on the same page, and work for the betterment of each member in that lies unity and unity is truly a strength as our history is evidence of many such incidents. It is through unity that people work as a team, and teamwork is always more valuable as it brings people together.
We urge all teams working for PJI to carry PJI fans, supporters and admirers along in their social dealings and engagement.
Urging the Nigeria Police to help investigate the matter to avoid such in nearest time and as well provide security personnel to help protect citizens most especially during campaign
Anyone who intend to disrupt the peace of the society would be fished out and reprimanded for wanting to pitch the good people of Ose/α»wα» against the good people of ΓkΓ³kΓ².Β Β
