Member of the House of Representatives, representing Owo/Ose Federal Constituency, Ondo state, Hon. (Dr.) Timehin Adelegbe is set to empower his constituents on Saturday, December 11, 2022.
Adelegbe in a release made available by his media aide, Wale Akingbade, disclosed that another Series 2 of Mega Empowerment Programme facilitated by the lawmaker has been scheduled to take place in three different locations simultaneously; Owo, Ifon and Idoani, this coming saturday.
The empowerment programme which is designed for artisans(Bricklayer section) in Owo and Ose local government areas will have no fewer than 2,000 bricklayers, vulcanisers and others skilled persons, selected across the wards as benefiticiaries of skill equipments from the Hon. Adelegbe empowerment scheme.
“Another round of empowerment programme is scheduled to hold on Saturday 10th of December, 2022 by Hon. (Dr.) Timehin Adelegbe, member representing Owo/Ose Federal Constituency, Abuja.
“This empowerment is in fulfilment of his promises made during his electioneering campaign and selected beneficiaries are targeted with a view to contributing meaningfully to their standard of livings and most importantly to alleviate poverty and enhance productivity.
This type of empowerment programme will be 6th of its kind since the lawmaker was elected into the National Assembly in 2019 to boost the economic growth of his constituents.
Among empowerment materials to be distributed include shovel, wheelbarrow, headpan and other valuable items.
Adelegbe who is also Vice Chairman, House of Representatives Committee on Foreign Affairs, said that the present leadership is committed towards reducing the poverty levels in Nigeria drastically.
