In his relentless efforts to meet electorate ahead the forthcoming 2023 General Elections, the People’s Democratic Party candidate for Owo Constituency 1, Ondo State Assembly has furthered his campaign tour to Igboroko Wards 2 and 3. Hon. Chief Abiodun Adebayo who is flying the party’s flag was accompanied by various party leaders and loyal members to the communities where he sought for the support of the resident and assured them that he will change the narratives of the constituency for better.The ward Chairman, Chief Samuel Orobatan charged members of the party and supporters to relentless campaign for PDP’s candidate. He expressed confidence that the party is heading to victory considering the precedence of Hon. Abiodun Adebayo who has selflessly contributed to the constituency growth through human capacity building.He said Abbey Shoprite is the only answer to the developmental aspirations of people in Owo Constituency1.The Chairman also received many decampees from the ruling party into the PDP fold. Speaking on behalf of the new members decamping from All Progressive Congress, Mr. Ibrahim Femi from Unit 4 said they are ready to work for PDP to rescue Nigeria.Mr. Ibrahim described the ruling APC as that only successfully lead Nigerians into hunger and poverty. He further vouch that victory is certain for every candidates of the People’s Democratic Party as they can no longer bear the maladministration of APC.The youth leader of the ward, Mr. Gbodi, urged the party leaders and candidates to ensure they work closely with the youth as well as giving them sense of belonging.The party’s Chairman in Owo Local Government, Hon. Asaba assures members of the party the commitment of PDP to their primary objective of being a pro people party. He however preached unity among all faithful members and urged them to ensure that they work together to attain victory in the forthcoming election.Earlier speaking, Hon. Abiodun Adebayo assured members of the ward that he will deliver his campaign promises when he becomes Representative of Owo Constituency1. He sought for their support and votes to help him win the election.
