Photos: All Stars FC, Emerged Winner of West Unity Cup 2022, gets 200k while Second and third position got 100k and 50k respectively

Yesterday All Stars FC of Owo, emerged winner of this year’s edition of WEST UNITY CUP, amidst fun fare and excitement. In the bid to further strengthen the existing Unity and togetherness among Owo Local Government Youths; Honourable Ogunmolasuyi Oluwole WEST alongside other Distinguished personalities, graced the grand finale of football competition, which took place between All Stars FC and WEST FC, at the Owo Township stadium

The competition, which began with the aim of further strengthen the spirit of Unity and exposing the hidden talents, among the teaming Youths, ended beautiful well yesterday.Addressing the pressmen, Hon. Ogunmolasuyi Oluwole WEST, noted the significance of sport in Nation building and the need for all relevant Stakeholders to invest hugely in the sector.

In his words “Sport is very important for societal development and this is why our achievements will not be complete without this competition, Which we look forward to make an annual event”

“We will continue to help sportsmen in building their strength and talents, promote teamspirit, and encouraging the talented ones among them to Florish”Ogunmolasuyi Oluwole WEST, who also noted the peaceful coexistence among all Teams and Observers, appreciated the organizers of the event, for an outstanding Job, well done.

The Honourable further appreciated Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu (Ondo State Governor, Hon. Chief Adegbegi Samuel (Owo Local Government Chairman), His Royal Majesty, Kabiyesi Oba Gbadegesin Ajigbade Ogunoye III (The Olowo of Owo) by extension to all Kings in the Local Government, for helping in sustaining the existing peace on the Land.

All Stars FC, West FC who both emerged winners got 200k, 100k respectively, while the third position got 50k.

Also, the best player, Best Goalkeeper and highest goal scorer, were all rewarded handsomely.
