The Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftiancy Affairs, Hon. Akinwunmi Sowore, has congratulated the Ondo state Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, who has been conferred the Commander of the Order of the Niger (CON) by President Muhammadu Buhari.
Sowore in a statement signed by him said the brilliant and progressive contributions of Governor Akeredolu not only the state but national as a whole qualified him for the national award of the Commander Of the Order of the Niger, CON, by President Muhammadu Buhari.
The Akogun of Apoi land noted that the Governor has displayed leadership with boldness and fearlessness that his dogged commitment to one indivisible Nigeria that is fair to all is not in doubt.
“Mr Governor, I heartily congratulates you on the conferment of national honour of Commander of the Order of the Niger (CON) by President Muhammadu Buhari.
“This national award is a well deserved one. You have demonstrated some levels of qualities and sagacity in leadership to the betterment of not only Ondo state to the national in particular.
“In the national prominence, you made your marks and leave above board such that we are proud of your leadership. It is our joy that you will continue to make up proud in that manner, Sowore added.
