Hooligans Attack Hospital in Ondo, cart-away Equipment

Some yet to be identified hooligans have attacked a hospital in Ondo kingdom, Ondo west local government of Ondo State, stealing hospital equipment worth millions of Naira. The hoodlums were said to have attacked Ileri Oluwa House of Hope Hospital on Sunday.

While describing the incident as disheartening, the founder of the hospital, Hakeem Oyeneyin, said the incident happened on Sunday night.

According to him, the attacker entered through the hospital roof and window.

He said that the hospital will be shut, pending the time the community will assure 100 per cent safety of lives and properties.

In the meantime, the State Police Command has commenced investigation into the matter.

Spokesperson of the command, Mrs Funmilayo Odunlami, said the command will get to the root of the matter.

“It was a case of burglary and we have commenced investigation into it,” the PPRO said.
