Gbajabiamila, AGF, ASUU, Meet On IPPIS UTAS

The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila and the Academic Staff Union of Universities led by it’s President, Prof Emmanuel Osodeke, on Monday, met on the lingering payment issue between the union and the Federal Government. 

Gbajabiamila, who shared photos from the meeting on his Facebook page stated that the Accountant-General of the Federation was also part of the meeting.

He stated that the meeting’s purpose was to reach an agreement on the implementation of the peculiarities of lecturers into the Integrated Personnel and Payroll Information System, which is a critical aspect of the agreement that led to the suspension of ASUU’s eight-month strike.
