The Police in Ebonyi State has said the Labour Party (LP) senatorial candidate Linus Okorie is in its custody.Okorie was intercepted on Sunday morning in Abakaliki by gunmen and taken away to an unknown destination.
He was a two-term House of Representative candidate who represented Ohaozara, Onicha and Ivo Federal Constituency.

Governor David Umahi is also contesting for same position under the All Progressive Congress (APC).
