No fewer than 200 students has benefited today from the 2022 Annual Bursary Empowerment Scheme initiated and sponsored by the Ile-oluji/Okeigbo and Odigbo Member House of Representatives, Hon. Mayowa Akinfolarin. Occasioned by his genuine vision and commitment to the education sector in the two Local Governments that make up the Constituency ably represented by him in the Federal House of Representatives, Abuja, Hon. Mayowa organized the 2022 edition of the education empowerment at Isero Grammar School, Odigbo today, where the beneficiary students received their cash bursaries in presence of some government functionaries, party chieftains and parents.Giving remarks at the event, the Ondo State Commissioner for Urban Planning, Hon. Takuro Amidu ably represented by Comr. Tibetan Busayo, Ore Ward chairman applauded the initiative and implored the beneficiaries to genuinely utilize the opportunity in tandem with the visions of Hon. Mayowa Akinfolarin.“This initiative by Hon. Mayowa Akinfolarin is applaudable because it undoubtedly poised at bringing developments to education in the constituency and encouraging seriousness among students while further improving the disposition of our young people to education.“I appreciate the Honourable for his continued commitment to his visions and promises for the people of Ile-oluji/Okeigbo and Odigbo Federal Constituency”.Similarly, Hon Oladosu SLA to Rt. Hon MAYOWA AKINFOLARIN implored stakeholders to increase their involvement in promotion of education culture because the development of communities revolves around it.Meanwhile, Hon. Mayowa Akinfolarin, who was absent at the event due to other important constituent assignments, was duly represented by his SLA, SAs and PAs, Media aides and party loyalist reiterated his continuous support for education in various spheres.He said, “individuals or societies can only give very little attention to education at their own peril. So we must continuously give a very large space for the development of education, not only limited distribution of bursaries, but also building conducive environments for learning, providing equipment and funds for research, and more”.Beneficiaries of the bursary and parents did not hide their joy about this development. They appreciated Hon. Mayowa Akinfolarin for giving back to his constituency.
