I’m grateful to God Almighty for his infinite mercies and blessings, for seeing me through this journey of becoming, and a phase of numerous encounters which distinguishes boys and men. This alone cannot in any way be undermined in our lines of victory. I unfeignedly appreciate my Parent for their immense support in all ramifications. I equally appreciate all family and friends for their support to achieve this goal.
To all NANS senators, JCC Chairmen, Zonal Coordinators, leaders, stakeholders, cadres and wonderful supporters, I feel deeply honored and gratified for your immense show of love and admiration, you’ve not just been there but always the pillar of support. Thanks for all you do.
I sincerely appreciate the management of Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE), Ekiti State University(EKSU), Bamidele Olumilua University of Education, Science and Technology Ikere-Ekiti (BOUESTI), Federal Polytechnic Ado-Ekiti and College of Health, Science and Technology Ijero Ekiti (COHESTI) for their invaluable support and kind assistance that formed a part of my walk to victory.
I equally owe a debt of gratitude to Comr. Adedayo Sunday Asefon (Outgoing President Of NANS), Comr. Odebunmi Idowu, Comr. Bewaji Oluwadamilare, All Leaders from Ekiti State, NANS Ekiti State Leadership, NANS Zone D Leadership, All Ekiti State Students’ Union Presidents, All my Team Member(TEAM LEGACY), All Insuites, all Ekiti State students, and all Nigerian Students for their immense support and motivations. May your labour of love be rewarded amazingly. To everyone who supported us financially, may God continue to enrich your pockets.
Against my first declaration, I had to take into consideration, the interest of Nigerian Students and possible derivatives if the former must be maintained to the last run, hence, the sudden change but with suitability of my credence and interest.
The actualization of my ambition at the just concluded NANS National Convention is not just historic but also signifies the power of a positive mindset and the natural gifts of great men. At a point, I was bewildered, when the path becomes narrow and my feet too reluctant. But now, they’re things of the past.
As the Newly Elected NANS National Director of Travels and Exchange, I shall be committed to my office duties and be prompt in other responsibilities of notable significance. I shall be modest and consistent as I’ve promised in my manifesto speeches, putting NANS visions and missions before my mountain of desires.
I’ve seen this not as an opportunity to rake from NANS treasury for my interest, but to launch an ideal roadmap that will touch the chord in NANS. I feel very hopeful that my service under the leadership of Com. Usman Umar Barambu as the President-Elect of NANS will offer me that platform to inject into the system, my very best.
So help me God!
