Masquerades invade church during service in Lantang South, flog pastor, worshipers, destroy church property.
A church service in Lantang South local government area was disrupted by masquerades who invaded the premises, flogged the pastor and worshipers while destroying the church property including the musical instruments, chairs and any property in sight.
The incident reportedly happened in Shikal village of the Council on Sunday, September 18.
A member of the church who gave his name only as Nanpon, said the masquerades arrived the church premises while church service was ongoing and started flogging those in attendance while also embarking on the destruction of church properties.
