The Chairman of Dakiz Initiative Empowerment in Ilaje had declared the programme closed for admission on Saturday, 3rd of September, 2022.
While we were declaring the Empowerment programme closed in Ilaje, we admitted additional twenty-six youths to make its closure memorable.
We are glad to announce to the public that Dakiz Initiative Empowerment had successfully allocated two-hundred and forty-two (242) Ilaje Youths to learn different skills of their interests for the period of one or two years.
We wholeheartedly appreciated the trainers and the trainees for their mutual understanding and cooperation.
Our appreciation also goes to Ilaje Local Government Chairman, Hon Jatuwase Olamigoke, who gave us an enabling environment to operate. We say kudos to you, Baba.
To our fathers who are with us in planning the project Prof. Bolanle Ogungbamila, Evangelist Lekan Remilekun Amos, Baba Henry Ojagbohunmi and Dr. Kole Agesin (PhD), we appreciate your Guiding roles and counsel, they played a major role in this Project.Our appreciation would not complete, if we do not mention Ilaje & Non-Ilaje philanthropists who donated learning materials to some of the trainees to ease their learning activities;
1- Princess Fayemi Olawumi (tailoring materials, one Industrial Machine for the best Tailor after Completion of Program, and 3 Rechargeable Clippers)
2- Dr. Tunji Moyero (Hairdresser, Furniture, Aluminum and Solar Installation beneficiaries)
3- Dr. Olusegun Akinsehinde (Free CAC Business Registration)
4- Comrade Balogun Adeola (2 Rechargeable Clippers)
5- Hon. Deji Ebisemiju (Learning material for Fashion Design Beneficiaries)
7- Mr. Bidemi Ibojo (Cake Making Materials)
We say thank you all.
We use this medium to appeal to all Ilaje sons and daughters, to support us in giving learning materials to the rest beneficiaries.
Our belief is that, in the next one year, over hundred of the trainees will be graduating from their learning services, and become self-employed.
We appreciate Comrade Meduoye Ileri, the Committee Secretary and Comrade Toluwa-Jolomi, Dakiz Initiator.
For and on behalf of Dakiz Initiative Empowerment:
Comrade Abayomi Goodluck – Chairman, Dakiz Initiative Empowerment, Ilaje Local Government.
