A Nigerian, Mustapha Gajibo from Borno State, North-East Nigeria has completed his made-in-Nigeria 100% electric bus that also uses solar panels while in motion.The vehicle is carbon emission-free. The bus is a 12-seater and can go a distance of 212km on one charge.It can accelerate to a speed of 110km/hr and it is fully air conditioned with a voice command system. Most importantly, the electric bus is built using 65% locally sourced materials from Nigeria.This is another laudable achievements for Nigeria, and being a 100% Carbon-emission-free Bus, this will drive Nigeria’s campaign against emission.
Mustapha is hopeful that Nigeria Government and stakeholders will show hands for sponsorship to make many of the products available in the market.The Bus comes with enough speed, unique features, cost effective and can help boost Nigeria’s Economy if the Government and stakeholders see to the rapid development.
