As 2023 general election campaign moves very closer, the front-line candidate for Okitipupa Constituency 1, Ondo State House of Assembly, Mr. Timothy Ayesuwa has taken yet another pre-campaign visitation to some constituents in Okitipupa Constituency 1.
Timo Akewi, as he is popularly called, was warmly welcomed yesterday by Akoko Women of Ilutitun, Ilutitun Osooro.
Timo Akewi, as he is popularly called, was warmly welcomed yesterday by Akoko Women of Ilutitun, Ilutitun Osooro.This is part of the efforts of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) Ondo State House of Assembly candidate to further familiarize his candidacy with the people of the constituency and also understand their plights, while channeling the best solution to address them when he eventually becomes their representative.
He said, “I’m humble by your warm reception today as I have find it necessary to visit you before campaign commences fully for the forthcoming 2023 general election.
It is a well known truth that overtime our constituency is being underrepresented and there is a need for us to end this ugly reality by electing purposeful leadership in the next election.
“I want to assure you that I’m very well prepared for the tasks. Especially, as Akoko women extraction in Ilutitun Osooro and Okitipupa Constituency 1 by extension, I want you to rest assured that you will have a place in the next representation under my leadership”, he added.
Some of the Women who spoke during the meeting appreciated Timothy Ayesuwa for paying them the August visit.
“For us, this visitation is thoughtful, and a welcome development, because it shows how viable you will represent us when you eventually becomes the representative of Okitipupa Constituency 1 in Ondo State House of Assembly.
“The thrust of representation is to constantly carry the people along by dialoguing with them to understand their plights. This you have showcased to today and we give you kudos for that”.
The Akoko women of Ilutitun assures Timo Akewi of their support.
“We have listened to you, and we can see how passionate you’re to represent us. We assure you that we’ll give you the necessary supports to ensure your emergence in the forthcoming election. Again, we appreciate you for coming”.
