Youths under the auspices of Okeagbe Youth Association has met Dr. Joseph Dahunsi to discuss pressing needs of the community.The interface meeting which held yesterday avail the youth group an opportunity to intimate Dr. Joseph Dahunsi on facilitating major infrastructure and enhancement of education development in Okeagbe.
While appreciating his commitments and contributions in time pass, the youths appreciated Dr. Dahunsi particularly for the face-lifting of Ajuwa Grammar School, Information Communication Technology (ICT) in LA Primary School, sponsorship for student, among others.
“This generous acts are enough to make you a role model for everyone because you’re worthy of emulation”, they said.
However, in a bid to secure more development for the community the youth group intimated the philanthropist on some salient areas that needs urgent attention in Okeagbe, most especially in the area of education.
They requested for the provision of textbooks/notebooks, extra lessons, sponsorship of basic education and scholarships for student to study in Nigeria or abroad, public library, re-construction of Ajuwa Grammar School-Aje bridge, Okeagbe Media Support.
The youth group went further to brief Dr. Dahunsi on their plan to present him an award in December 2022 as well as the commemoration of 100th year anniversary of Okeagbe community.
Dr. Dahunsi responded positively to all their requests and promised to pass them across to his colleagues in OPU on getting back to the United States.
Delegates of the youths present at the meeting includes; Mr. Oluwaseun Akeju, Comrade Morakinyo Pelumi Awe, Prince Ademuyiwa Adesanmi, Mr. Rotimi Aremo, Mr. Godwin Adeyemo, Mr. Femi Giwa and Mr. Banji Adega.
