The front-line House of Representatives candidate who is also the flag-bearer of New Nigerian People’s Party (NNPP), Pst. (Dr) Bassey Effiong has visited constituents in Ibiatuk Ward Nine(9) Ikot Ada Akpan, Oku Iboku in Ibiono Ibom and Itu Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom respectively.
This is in an effort to make more familiarity with the people and understand their plights.
This is in an effort to make more familiarity with the people and understand their plights.While at Ibiaku Ward 9, Dr. Bassey Effiong made a stop the palace of the Village Head of Ibiaku where he paid homage to the royal father and other traditional leaders before joining his supporters for a meeting at the village hall, Ibiaku where he later interacted and made promises to them if eventually elected in 2023 poll.
“I have not only come here today to familiarize myself with you all, but I’ve also come to understand your plights.
When you eventually give me the mandate, I’ll make commitment to initiate empowerment programs for capacity building through skills acquisition, build company, borehole and other brilliant developments in this community”.
His visit to Ikot Ada Akpan, Oku Iboku in Itu Local Government is also similar, where the Clan Head of Oku Iboku- Etebom Ubong Andem and some village heads in the Clan offered him advises and royal blessings for his success and emergence of at the poll.
Constituents in both communities promised to support, mobilize and vote for Pst. (Dr) Bassey Effiong in the forthcoming election.
