The Campaign Organization of the front-line Comr. Babatunde Akinteye popularly known as Babtee, the front-line Vice President External aspirant of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) has lauded the recent commitment made by Hon. Bunmi Tunji-Ojo to disburse a bursary worth 50 Million naira to Students in his Constituency, Akoko North East/West.“Our attention has drawn to the joyous mood amongst the Akoko North/ West Students of Ondo State as they rejoice to the N50,000,000 (fifty million naira) worth of scholarship sponsored by Hon. Bunmi Tunji-Ojo.
“The money said to be given as scholarship to a total number of 1,000 (one thousand) students across the Akoko North/ West Federal Constituency, comes after the same Member of House of Representatives bought 2000 JAMB forms for Akoko indigenes and giving a N50,000 (fifty thousand naira) palliative to 1000 students from his Federal Constituency.While praising the initiative, the campaign organization said “this very honorable act has caught the eyes of every one in Ondo State, SouthWest and Nigeria at large as it is a very commendable act especially at a time where the entire country is facing untold hardship.Β
This scholarship which would be distributed in quick time would not only encourage the youths to study more but also cushion the financial efforts of our parents”.
Comr. Babatunde Akinteye BABTEE, the leading NANS Vice President External aspirant and the entire campaign team appreciated the good gestures towards the Nigerian Students, Akoko students in particular. They also express hope that every other political officeholders and well-meaning people will emulate this gesture to ensuring a better nation.
