Tukur Mamu reportedly issued a warning, stating that Nigeria must not misstep and permit the terrorists to wed her. He stated that when she has been forcibly wedded, no amount of discussion or bargaining will be able to set her free.
He added during an interview with TVC News that the terrorists are individuals with diverse ideas, and getting married to someone like that might completely alter the life of the young abductee.
