According to the document, under code 011100100200, the sum of N1 billion earmarked for the building of a deputy governor’s lodge in the nationβs capital, Abuja.
This development comes amid calls for prudence in spending government finances.
Another sum of N800 million was earmarked for the renovation of deputy governorβs office in Yola and N500 million for furnishing new deputy governorβs office also in Yola.
In total the sum of N2.3 billion was budgeted for construction of deputy governorβs lodge in Abuja and renovation/furnishing of the deputy governorβs office in Yola.
While the state government plans to commit the sum to the deputy governorβs offices and lodge, it only budgeted N1.7 billion for provision of water facilities.
Provision of infrastructure for the state is N3.5 billion, just N1.2 billion above the amount planned for the construction of deputy governorβs lodge and renovation of his offices.
Rehabilitation and repairs of public schools is only planned to gulp N2.2 billion.
The capital expenditure budget for the ministry of water resources is only N1.6 billion, Primary Healthcare development agency is only N472million.
Adamawa is also highly indebted domestically to the tune of N103billion.
