American TV host, Steve Harvey, has reacted to reports that his wife, Marjorie Elaine, was having extramarital affairs with his staff and opting for a divorce.
Steve, during the 2023 edition of Invest Fest, on Sunday, August 27, noted that he and Marjorie are fine and have no time for rumours.
The 65-year-old TV sensation stated: “We fine. I don’t know what y’all doing, but find something else to do because we’re fine. I ain’t got no time for rumours and gossip. God’s been good to me, I’m still shining.”
This position from Steve is coming more than 48 hours after social media went agog with news that his wife, Marjorie, filed for divorce and demanded $200 million from the star.
It was alleged that she cheated on him with his chef and bodyguard.
Steve and Marjorie got married in 2007 and have spent the past 15 years together.
Meanwhile, Steve has apologised after an employee posted a message from his official X account that asked netizens name a comedian they “don’t find funny at all”.
He also denied he would send such a statement as his brand is “all about positivity”.
Steve said: “Somebody that works for me on my Twitter put a statement out that was totally negative.
“I gotta take responsibility for it ’cause they work for me, but the engagement was talking about, ‘Name a comedian you don’t think is funny.’”
