The Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED) Alumni Association has granted scholarships to six top-performing 200-level students, each representing one of the university’s six colleges.
The scholarships, covering full tuition fees, aim to reward academic excellence and promote a culture of hard work among undergraduates. The awards were presented during the matriculation ceremony for newly admitted students on January 8, 2025, at the university auditorium.
Bolaji Oladeji, the National President of the TASUED Alumni Association, emphasized that the scholarship program is a long-standing initiative designed to encourage academic diligence and excellence.
In his address, Oladeji congratulated the newly matriculated students and urged them to focus on their studies while steering clear of distractions and negative influences, such as cultism, drug abuse, and examination malpractices, which could jeopardize their futures.
“The Alumni Association is committed to supporting the university’s mission by fostering academic excellence and instilling discipline in the students,” Oladeji stated.
This initiative reflects the alumni’s dedication to motivating students and contributing to the growth and reputation of TASUED.
